Although supported by The George Institute through in-kind support for infrastructure and operations, Sepsis Australia has no dedicated funding stream. Currently funding is only available from unexpended funds redirected from other Critical Care Programs within The George Institute. As such Sepsis Australia seeks philanthropic opportunities, industry sponsorship, research grants and donations to deliver on its Mission.
The funding obtained is solely used to deliver on the Stopping Sepsis National Action Plan recommendations and implementation of the national Sepsis Clinical Care Standard to reduce the largely preventable burden of sepsis in Australia.
